I can do this. Though it's almost end of May, I have great faith that I can cut down the number of unread books in my library to a reasonable number. The fact that I got a Kindle for Christmas makes it slightly complicated, but I have faith.
I'm not going to list re-reads, just books that I'm reading for the first time. I'm shooting for at least 40 TBR books out of my library.

6. Taken at the Flood
I'm slightly disturbed by this book. One of the main characters says that girls that get attacked were asking for it and later ***SPOILER ALERT*** decides that her fiance is the one for her when he almost chokes her to death. WTH

7. An Unsuitable Job for a Woman
I just reviewed this book on my 12 in 12 thread and while I started off being meh about it, I think I ended up talking myself into not liking it. I'll read the rest of the P.D. James books I own, but unless something really changes, I doubt I'll be buying more of them.

Definitely different from most of the books by Agatha Christie that I've read. Very much a conspiracy on a worldwide scale. Not my favorite but still very entertaining.

Sanja,
I take it you like to read Agatha Christie? I have never read anything of hers personally but last time I was over at my grandma's house I found a collection of them. She let be borrow one ("I'm not a library!"). I'm kind of excited to read it.

>19 by simplekind, Her stories are entertaining and she's usually got a nice twist or two that you don't figure out beforehand up her sleeve. Though I will say, she's not my favorite, as I find her stories too short to really get into, among other things. But I do certainly enjoy them for a quick fun whodunnit. :)

Well that explains why my grandma had so many Agatha Christie books. She loves mysteries. I've never been much into the but I'm still excited to read it. I think I'm gonna be more sad to give it back.

>19 simplekind: & >20 .Monkey.: I love, love, love Agatha Christie. I'm reading all her books chronologically. I just love private little murders full of village gossip.

Well now I'm even more excited to read this book. The "full of village gossip" has me fascinated.

26 -- what did you think of ALVH? It's sitting in a stack on my book shelf just waiting to be read...

>27 TinaV95:, It was an amusing book and a good read. Definitely fluff, but interesting.

Thanks... I like that description, by the way. Interesting fluff. I may steal that title for one of my categories of reading next year if you don't mind! :)

I think we all need some interesting fluff in our lives (don't think it's vampires for me, however). :)
