Seems our group is fizzling out. No one is posting anymore, and that's too bad. It's based on one of my favorite genres: historical mysteries. When I first joined, it was relevantly active. There are several hundred members. I guess I ran everyone off. I'm thinking about starting a new group using the same genre; but maybe this time, trying to start with more attractive or interesting discussion topics?

No-one seems to be posting in any of the groups I am a member of. I get the feeling that the site has been deserted. Hopefully people will return before too long.

I've noticed that, too, that conversation is down everywhere. Summertime is like this.

Honestly while I do read a lot of historical mysteries, I just plain forget about this group. Sorry.

Maybe folks are holding their collective breaths to see the changes about to descend!

Some of the most active members of the DiscWorld group are Aussies and it is winter here. We should all be huddled around our computers trying to keep warm.

Changes??? What changes?

Well never mind then.

I often forget to come to this group too. I will make more of an effort. Maybe we need a couple of new threads relating to different types of HM, eg female/male detective, cozy, thriller, etc. I am guilty of this myself, but often we just post I read this or I read that. I would like to know if it was good, bad or average. If it is worth continuing with the series etc. I don't know what the rest of you think. But there are a couple of suggestions.

I think a new group is a good idea. Maybe it will bring in some fresh ink on the subject.

One of my favorite genres too; just don't have a lot of time to post different places.
The last historical I read was Too Soon For Flowers by Margaret Miles. I read that right after the first one in the series. I love early America.

I haven't been a member of this group; could anyone fill me in? Why does the moderator think he's run everyone off? :)
