First one was pretty good.

I have gotten every one so far and love them just too short. Especially this month which as was the first to actually not technically feature Buffy.

I think they're all pretty good thus far.

I've been into some storylines more than other. I think the first issue was amazing, but issues 3 & 4 have a lot of problems.

I do not like several random things, such as:
1) Warren clearly died. So he's still dead to me.
2) Ethan Rayne appearing only to get killed. His whole schtick was that he usually gets away.
3) A lot of Buffy and Willow's dialogue with each other, which is just sloppy and doesn't make a lot of sense.
4) How Willow's character is dealt with overall.

Let's get onto things I actually *like*, including:
1) The entire Faith storyline, which was the best so far. And kudos to being the one to feature the most Giles, who did kick booty in that story, especially at the end.
2) Dawn being a giant, which really is just awesome. I also like her recent transformation.
3) Twilight, and one of the best (perhaps my favorite besides Issue 1) issues has been the fight Buffy had with him where Satsu was injured.

I have a lot of friends who read it, who commented a LOT on Wolves at the Gate, and really disliked that
1) Dracula was in it
2) Buffy's romantic encounter

Both didn't bother me, and I liked the storyline overall. It was definitely stronger than the first, but the 'MechaDawn' towards the end was a little much. I did like that they offed Renee, because I actually cared.

Anyway, is that enough? Feel free to disagree!

I feel like the comics have done a good job of maintaining the wit of the series, to a certain extent, and I have enjoy reading them. However, overall, I feel like they like the gravity of the series.
