Can't Cancel?

Here's an owner who's run across that familiar problem on the web: Easy to buy, near impossible to cancel . . . http://blogs.pcworld.com/techlog/archives/006122.html in this case subscriptions. Otherwise, he's happy with his Kindle.

Yeah, Its true. You can sign up really easy at the Kindle store using your Kindle for online supscriptions, but to cancel, you have to use a computer and access your account at Amazon.

I think I will send another suggestion to Amazon (I have sent a few). This should be easily fixable with a software upgrade...

Geez, I just read that message I left a few hours ago... while my kids were pulling on me to go somewhere... umm I don't want anybody to think I have some sort of pull with Amazon or anything. I don't.

There are so many odd little things about the Kindle that just don't make sense. This is one of them. Hopefully, many of these oddities (did I spell that right?) will be fixed in later versions.
