Britain's American Policy

I've been reading Charles Ritcheson's book "British Politics and the American Revolution." Who else has read this and what are your thoughts? I find his treatment of King George III sympathetic, but captivated by bad advice. I find the political debate between internal and external taxes on the American Colonies to be enlightening. Most of all, though, I find the way Ritcheson presents presents both sides' reliance on the British Constitution and the Revolution Settlement of 1688 fascinating. He portrays both sides as harnessing an interpretation of this settlement to bolster their viewpoints.
