I wanted to check the Palmthing site, looking for any sign of update... but it seems to be gone right now. All I'm getting is an error message by the provider (Comcast):

Check the url. One of the links in the threads here was wrong, so if you used that you might have got the error. I've just looked at the readme page, and that seems to be working at the moment. Last update listed is Version 1.0.11. MMcM 02/08.

I used the link given in the description of the "PalmThing for LibraryThing" group, that is http://home.comcast.net/~mmcm/palmthing/
It looks like the default page for that folder is forbidden, whereas individual documents within it are OK (such as readme.html, as indicated by JulesJones). Maybe someone should correct the group header.
