I see this group is getting as much attention as the era- none! why is it that such a fascinating period in history suffers from such neglect, if only we had the complete polybius and hieronymius what tales we could read!

Ha. Well, I'm interested in it.
It's total wreck as far as I'm concerned. We have so little—history, but also other literature. The Hellenistic World is far more like ours than 5c. Athens, even in literature. And, now that I am out of graduate school, I can admit I could give a rat's ass about 5c. Athens.
