Some of us are hoping for a group read of The Serpent's Tale the sequel of Mistress of the Art of Death but we haven't heard yeah or nay yet.

As some of you may know V _B is expecting a happy event in September. So I think those of you who want to read The Serpents Tale should go ahead on your own.
We already have a book lined up for our next read. But, when that will be is yet to be determined.

To those of you who have enquired and to put you out of your misery the next book we will read is A Seperate Country by Robert Hicks.
This is by way of saying thank you to our sponsor Hatchette Book Group who has kindly donated three copies of the book as prizes.
The book will be released sometime in September 2009.
We do not know when the Group Read will take place as we are having a little addition to the group! Once this little matter is taken care of Vintage Books will once again take up the reigns, hopefully later in the year. But, never fear, we will be back. Meanwhile enjoy some good reading.
