Curious About Collections

Once collection information is added to the exported files, are there plans to add that information to the PalmThing program? I don't need collections to be in the program at this time, I'm just curious.

Once I figured out that I had to add dummy tags to the books I haven't tagged yet—so that the exported files have the correct data—I haven't had any problems with PalmThing.

Yes, my plan is to turn them into categories in some way. I am disappointed that they haven't shown up in the export file yet, and I hope that is just resources and not because there is some reluctance to add them. Myself, I have not migrated my wish list from an Excel file for this reason.

If it turns out that they aren't realistically going to be there, we can adopt some convention for tags that one adds to all the books in a collection, which thankfully isn't that hard to do, though it is still manual.

Likewise, I have been hoping that the no tags bug in the export file will just get fixed, since I am afraid a workaround outside will run the risk of making things worse.
