I was just wondering if anyone has read any really unusual planetary stories recently that they would like to share with the group?
Actually, they don't even have to be whole novels; I recently read a short story in New Writings in SF-1 called The Sea's Furthest End by Damien Broderick.
It was one of those stories that pulls the rug from under you right at the end; from a galactic space opera format it flips into something far more ominous and supernatural.
