this book is about 2 girls who tryout for the soccer team but only one girl makes the team and the other friend feels really upset and down because she didn't make the team and it made her feel not good enough to do sports. but she found the science fair and thought to try it out and ended up winning the science fair with her awesome project. this can teach kids not to beat themselves up over not making a sport because there is always something better out there to explore.

This is a great book about cheering on your friends even if you can not be out there yourself. In the story the two friends try out for the soccer team but one of the girls does not make the team, but she eventually finds what she is good at and gets to have her friend cheer her on.
