Biblical era verbiage. Genuine story of the reason for the season. Nativity. Shepherds. Soft colored illustration. Because of it's secular nature, probably not a book for school, but most certainly one for my grandkids. ( )

Christmas Is Here is a wonderful story about the religious background of Christmas. The author has used words from the Christian Holy Bible of the King James version. This book is a wonderful religious picture for children who want to know the true meaning of Christmas. This is book would not be a good picture book to use for teaching instruction because the religious meaning of Christmas is being represented in this book which makes it inappropriate for teaching in school. This is a wonderful book though filed with beautiful illustrations that go from present to the past of the Christian religion. ( )
