Wow right off the bat the first two chapters totally ensnare you.. You knew from Trace of Fever that Alani and Jackson were going to be hot together and whew you were thrown right into it.... Chapters 3-5 have Dare, Trace and Jackson going all territorial over Alani. To have all three of them alpha men in one room.. umm umm. This is my favorite of the series.. I cannot wait for Spencer and Arizona book!!! ( )

This book reintroduces two characters from past books. Alani (When you Dare) and Jackson (Trace of Fever), there is a hot attraction between these two characters and I love to see Jackson put his foot in his mouth and Alani realize just how sensitive he is. Savor the Danger is a great story and keep you guessing. The awesome Ms Lori Foster adds new characters to this book as well as keeping the old favorites (Chris), it just keeps you wanting more.

Review: Savor The Danger by Lori Foster.

I didn’t really care for this book because it sometimes got confusing and it seemed like the same subject was rehashed over and over. The characters had their own strange traits and there wasn’t much of a setting in place besides underdeveloped areas with little detail yet there was plenty of lust between two characters on every other page….Some reader’s enjoy romance but I prefer a unique adventurous story to follow in the mix. I don’t believe there was even a story plot that had any organization to have any solid content process to follow.

The two main characters, Jackson who is egotistically arrogant throughout the book and Alani, the women that Jackson has been infatuated with start the story off by waking up one morning in bed together. Jackson doesn’t remember a thing about their night together and takes one look at Alani and jumps out of bed running to the bathroom where he up-chucks in the toilet. Now, Alani is furious because she interrupts the situation in another form. With Jackson getting sick, and not remembering any of the details and desperately wanting to know all the gritty details of their night together Alani is embarrassed and gets dress and high-tails it out of there.

Alani rides around for a while then heads home and encounters Jackson on her door step wanting more answers. Before they have any time to talk her brother Trace and his friend Dare show up and just by the aura around them assumes something was going on. Her brother Trace is very protective of Alani because she had been kidnapped and almost sold to a sex trafficker so he was extremely curious to know what’s going on. Alani didn’t like her brother’s attitude and became defensive but not Jackson he was willing to infuriate her brother by introducing he slept with Alani and needed answers because he had no memory of the sleepover…. The three men, Jackson, Trace and Dare worked together as missionary crusaders chasing after bad guys and this time the case hit close to home. They figured Jackson must have been drugged, but why!…or had it to do with Alani past situation…?

After that all three guys decided that Jackson would keep Alani with him at all times until they could figure what was going on. That worked for Jackson but Trace was still having a hard time knowing his sister was venturing into a relationship with Jackson because he knew how much of a lady’s man Jackson was and he felt his sister was going to get hurt. As the investigation went on Alani was getting to like the idea of being with Jackson and experiencing her sexuality.

From this point on the story was mainly about their on and off sexual connections of where, when, and how they would have the pleasure of mating. There was a few scenes of corruption and another two people, Arizona, a female survivor friend of Jackson’s and Spence, a bounty hunter who were brought into the story which didn’t seem real and some behavior scenes that didn’t make sense but I believe these last two people were brought into the story to carry them on to the next book….Too much sex play and not enough of developed content to create a story….

Another good one. I have to say, I liked Jackson a lot more than Dare or Trace, but I'm intrigued by Spencer... I think the next one will be even better. ( )
