I am not a big informational book reader, but I really enjoyed reading this book and feel that I learned a lot about the importance of bees. This book is written as a picture book and was a pretty quick read, but it still contains a lot of information. I appreciated the illustrations and diagrams provided because they helped me to further understand the information I was reading (I am a visual learner). The loss of the bee population would affect many types of animals and plant species. It would completely change our world. On page 20 it says, “The loss of one small creature, even as small as the bee, can have a huge effect on the ecosystems of our world”. This book informs the reader of the importance of bees and encourages their protection. This book talks about the size of bees, and its small size in comparison to the rest of the creatures in the ecosystem. It talks about what bees do, such as collecting pollen from flowers during the day. It also talks about how important flowers are to bees and their lives. The different food chains were also discussed, and how many living beings belong to multiple different food chains, as well as the predators that bees face. The consequences of the extinction of bees was also brought up and discussed in the book, which is a very important topic and can show how important these organisms are in our environment and ecosystems. This book is about bees, and what would happen if we did not have bees on our world. It addresses many different aspects such as what would happen to other animals, food webs, what would happen to plants, etc. I like this book for a few reasons, one being that the illustrations are great because they provide labels, arrows, and captions. Another reason is because they make the information somewhat relevant to children so that it is easier for them to understand and absorb. I would use this in my classroom when talking about ecosystems, and food chains, and how bees are such an important part of our natural world. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
Grassland ecosystems can be found on nearly every continent. Countless animals and plants live in them. So what difference could the loss of one animal species make? Follow the chain reaction, and discover how important honey bees are. Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |
