This affirmed that Danielle Steel's prose is not my cup of tea. I did not really enjoy the book and mainly flipped through the pages to quickly finished it. It was definitely going in circles with thin fillers and nothing much going on for me.

Here's my full review:

An unusual book for Danielle Steele. Somewhat disturbing and maybe a little too over the top for me. ( )

I haven't read a lot of Danielle Steel's work yet, but what I have read I loved. Except for this book. It was completely ridiculous, even for someone who loves fantasy. It lost me half way through and was difficult to finish. ( )

The klone and I by Danielle Steel
Roger has left Stephanie with 2 kids and he's sueing her in the divorce. She took care of everything for him.
She started taking better care of herself after he left with his girlfriend. She had to pay alimony and custody out of her trust fund.
She meets Peter in Pairs and as he has to work he has created a clone of himself: Paul Clone.
He was just too perfect and she stayed in touch with him. Paul Clone is only the same as Peter in looks only.
So funny when she tries to find the perfect mate. ( )

In effetti
Stephanie non crede ai suoi occhi quando un giorno apre la porta e...

It's a story of love and passion goes sour when the man she loves now has a Klone. She loves the real person and the klone. She loves them both, but she doesn't know which one to choose; she wants both of them. One is funny, sweet, and caring; and the other is wild, crazy, and yet totally beautiful. ( )

This story is one I was not sure bout when I started it, my sister had read it and said it was great so I picked it up at the local library. It of course is a love story with a twist. Stephanie is 41, divorced with 2 children that keep her busy. She goes on a trip while the children are with their father. While in Paris she meets an American guy and falls fast for him. When she picks her children up and settles back into life with them Peter calls her and they start seeing each other. When he is called away on business, his Klone comes to stay with her. She has no clue why Peter is acting strangely and the sexual side is so much better when he is acting like this. At the end she has to choose which she loves more Peter or his Klone. ( )
