This book is about a pig who wonders why she is born bald since all the other farm animals have some type of hair on them. One day she comes up with a solution of how to not be bald anymore which is to create a wig. All the farm animals are surprised by the pigs wig but make fun of her. At the end of the book the pig realizes it's okay to be bald and that she still is a beautiful pig with no hair. It was about a pig who was self absorbed in herself. She thought she was the perfect pig until her friends, being other animals, made fun of her for being bald. She asked a horse, a cat and a roster and all told her she was ugly because she didn't have a mane, fur or feathers. After a while, she realized that being someone who you aren't is not the way to live life. Excepting who you are is the best thing you can do. In this modern fantasy, a pig named Peggoty thought she was the most beautiful animal at the farm. As she was looking at herself in the duckpond, these new lambs came and made fun of her. They called her ugly because she was bald. So she went around the whole farm, asking the other animals if that was true. They all told her that if she had hair, she would not be as ugly. So Peggoty made herself a wig one night, and flaunted it the next morning. She was so proud until the other animals were mocking her again. In her upset rage, she ran up to the farmer's house and looked through the window. She saw the farmer's wife bathing their new, bald, and pink baby. The woman was calling the baby beautiful and an angel. This made the pig so happy. But before the pig left, the woman saw Peggoty and screamed because she was a hairy beast. After that, Peggoty went back to her friends and bragged about how humans think you are a monster if you are hairy, but they think you are an angel if you are bald and pink. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
