In my opinion this is a very well written book. I believe that the book really did capture history in a way that was fictional yet easy for children to understand and learn from. An example of this is how the author writes about Queen Victoria and her usual traditional traditions for Christmas time. I believe that the author capture the main idea of the story which was how friendship and family is very important.The story's themes are meaningful, along with , the setting being accurate for the time period.
