Zach and Zoe Gallagher are dog-sitting for a neighbour who’s on holiday. Looking after Molly Manners, the little beagle in their care, is hard work but fun too—until pushy cousin, Howie, comes to stay. Not only does Howie bully Zach and Zoe; he picks on Molly Manners too, and the twins are constantly on guard. Keeping the peace becomes an almost impossible job, and the situation is quickly going from bad to worse. If Zach and Zoe—and Molly Manners— survive Howie’s visit, it will be a miracle. The idea for this story came to Kristin when a friend took her dog to a psychiatrist. Kristin thought this was so funny, she decided right then that she had to write a story about a dog with an attitude.
