Several years later she returns to the small town where she grew up and tries to fix things. I've read this plot before, it is not original, but this author does an OK job of telling the story even if it is rather predictable. Danny holds a grudge (not surprisingly) and Savanna feels that the efforts she made to explain what was going on in her head were sufficient - it transpires that an important letter went astray. Savanna's efforts to reengage with Danny include fundraising for the local hospital. Danny doesn't trust Savanna not to run away again and so is uncooperative. I'm pretty sure that you can work out the ending ! The story IS predictable but it is well enough told. There is nothing in this book that will challenge the reader or linger in the mind but it is an enjoyable enough, light read. Zeige 3 von 3 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

Story starts with Savanna and she can't go through with the wedding. Her whole life has been planned out for her and she rebels...
Story also follows Daniel who was left at the altar. Six years later she comes back to town and is hoping to redo the house and sell it.
She purchased it from her parents when they moved to the city. There is so much she has no idea about in her absence.
Others also have not heard about her and what she's done over the years. She felt like she had to prove herself.
Love the idea of her career and how it can help the hospital raise money. Daniel is now the laywer in town and heads up many committees.
They are forced to work together on the fund raiser with others and spend a lot of time together where they open up to one another about the past.
Like how the whole community is there for everybody else, similar to the town we live in.
Good story but a bit predictable. About the author is included at the end.
Free from the author and this is my honest opinion. ( )
