This book is 95% pictures. They are very pretty reproductions of Renoir's work but the book has little else to offer on information. That being said, its the best book on Renoir that I've read. The introduction offers a brief history of Renoir. The reproductions are of his most influential works and are all good quality.

It depends on how much you like Renoir on whether or not this book is worth a buy but it is worth borrowing it from a library. I expect that Renoir, My Father by Jean Renoir will be more comprehensive but it is a good companion book to it. ( )
