Lädt ... Devious: A 9th Circle Prequel Short Storyvon Carolyn McCray
Keine Keine aktuelle Diskussion zu diesem Buch. I picked up "Devious" as a freebie from Amazon (gotta love those!) and I am very glad I did. It is such fun when you can pick up a new (to you) author and find someone you really like. As we all know, it can be very "hit or miss" with any books out there. Especially in these days when so many people are taking advantage of publishing themselves. Not that self publishing is a bad thing - it gives authors tremendous opportunities they would not have previously had. It is just hard for me when some of them are a hot mess of spelling errors, diction errors, poor grammar, and convoluted story lines. All these things could be so easily fixed with a bit of care. In this case, I can say that I was highly impressed by the writer. The writing was tight, the story line was interesting, and I really want to get to know more about the lead characters. I find it interesting that the writers take on an issue such as Asperger's and makes the character not only understandable, but also someone you have a great deal of respect for. Awesome. There is a sort of "Sherlockian" feel about the way Darc is handled that I found immensely appealing. Over all, I have every intention of adding this series to my 'must read' list and greatly look forward to the next one. That, again, is the wonderful thing about being offered freebies on Amazon Kindle - you can sometimes find a beautiful jewel amongst the stones. An interesting story which I believe is the start of a series (
