This was such an incredibly sad sophisticated picture book. I liked the simplicity of the illustrations and the story itself. I'm not sure who the target audience is with this one but it needs to be assessed by an adult for suitability before handing to a child. ( )

A GREAT book about emotions and social awareness. I loved this story and will absolutely be getting a copy for myself to talk with the kids about sadness and how it isn't always a bad thing, sometimes it can bring us to others.

Es un libro de solo imagenes. es la historia de un pajaro azul que se convierte en amigo de un niño solitario pero luego otros niños maltartan al apajaro y muere,luego pajaros de todos los colores llevan al niño para que lo lleve al cielo.

This was a moving book, while indeed it had no words the pictures spoke for themselves. This book is a great read in the classroom for elementary students when the topic of bullying or loneliness come up in the year. Its a great book to remind students that they are not alone. ( )
