This guidebook contains some interesting pointers to potential destinations around Toronto, especially useful for people that are not familiar to the area. This being said, the proposed destinations are rarely graced with much details, the author preferring to dwell on how to get there (this in the century of GPS and Google Maps). The restaurants and accommodation options recommended tend to be on the pricier side, and the shopping section seems mostly to reflect the author's taste for stained glass.
There are no photographs whatsoever in this book. The image on the cover is the only want you'll see inside the book, repeated - in black and white - at the start of every chapter. Not tremendously useful to picture what to expect. ( )
