Seeds, Bees, Butterflies, and More! is a book of poems written for two voices as a conversation between two organisms, such as types of bees, flowers, worms, and little seedlings. It's a great book for elementary science class and offers the class to practice the read-aloud activity. From an ELAR teacher's pov, I would recommend reading one poem for each section you're going over in class and include it in an activity, either a worksheet or group activity. I love it when a subject I find challenging is connected to a book, movie, or engaging actvity. ( )

A great book about plants and insects and gardening. Written as poems that are conversations between two organisms (eg bumble bee and honey bee, flower and worm, two seeds, rabbit and seedling, etc), they are meant to be read by two people. A great way to share bedtime reading -- parent and child. So sweet, and educational, too. Great pictures. ( )

This book is chock full of nature-themed poems that are supposed to be read by two people. It is a great book to have in the classroom for the students to practice partner reading. It is especially good for reading for fluency. It can also be used to teach science because it has facts about the animals and insects. ( )

This book was very interesting to me because the author set it up so 2 students read it. It has poems and each of them can be read by 2 students which would be very useful for reader's theater. The themes of these poems are based on plant, animal and insect worlds. There are facts tied into the poems and this can be used to educate students, especially in science. I also really enjoyed the colors of the illustrations in these poems. They caught my eye and I am sure that students would enjoy them as well. I would use this book to teach science lessons and to allow them to read it for fun. ( )

"Seeds, Bees, Butterflies, and More!" is a book of poems for two voices. One voice reads part of the poem, and then another voice responds. Each of the poems rhyme and follow the book's theme of plants, insects, and nature.
