This book follows the two main characters, a demanding playboy doctor and a kind hearted family orientated nurse, and the romance that develops between them following the doctor’s skiing accident and his subsequent recovery.

You could see the ending coming a mile off, but for this light hearted story, it didn’t actually matter.

I enjoyed the story, no surprises, but a feel good read, perfect for a rainy day on the sofa or stretched out on a beach. Nothing too demanding, but occasionally, there’s nothing wrong with that.

On the not-so-great side, the book was rather bland. The romance was tepid at best and nothing particularly exciting happened.

I had a few problems with some of the plot points. The accidental needle stick subplot was bizarre. It wasn't particularly romantic and it didn't seem realistic.

I also had a hard time believing that a man who was hurt as seriously as the doctor would really be trying to get it on with a nurse in his hospital bed. Shouldn't he be focused on recovering? I'm sure getting it on can wait a few weeks.

I'm not a big hospital romance reader (or even a big contemporary romance reader) so maybe I'm complaining about things that are completely acceptable and even normal in this genre. (I don't even watch Grey's Anatomy.) However, I don't think I'll be picking up another hospital book anytime soon.
