I enjoyed it and was taken on the ride right along with Skye. It was so hard to see Skye chose against the man she loves in order to do what is right, where her heart is leading her, and what her parents fought and sacrificed for. Her and Asher's hearts were so hurt and broken and that was emotional to read about. One thing though that I didn't understand is why Asher couldn't have chosen silver and to follow her. It was awesome though how there were steamy moments that sustained me and as usual made my heart beat faster. I loved Earth, she was a great new character. She was fleshed out well and smart beyond her years. There was also an old character who turned out to be a unlikely alliance and I was surprised how much I grew to like her and what she contributed to the story. Cassie is a welcomed relief in the comedic area. Though she was serious when she needed to be, her loyalty and character shined through. The ending wrapped everything up really well, though I didn't like who ended up dying. Bottom Line: Good series ending. Zeige 2 von 2 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

Perfect for fans of Lauren Kate's Fallen series and Becca Fitzpatrick's Hush, Hush saga, this darkly romantic story that began with A Beautiful Dark and gathered intensity in A Fractured Light comes to a thrilling conclusion in A Radiant Sky. Since the night of her seventeenth birthday, Skye has been torn between two opposites: light and dark, the Order and the Rebellion, Devin and Asher. But in a shocking decision, she chose neither. With the help of her friends, Skye now forges her own path, setting out to gather an uprising of Rogues. These half-angels may be the key to maintaining the balance. But completing the mission is more difficult--and dangerous--than she could have imagined. And it comes at a cost: her greatest love may now be a lethal enemy. Because it's not just the Order that sees her as a threat. The Rebellion does, too. Dark days lie ahead, and if Skye is to survive, she'll need to rely on her extraordinary powers and the strength of her will. Because she has a future--and a love--that's worth fighting for. This is the last book of the “A Beautiful Dark” trilogy. The epic battle between light and dark is about to happen. Devin is part of the Order, who believe in rules and fate. Asher is part of the Rebellion, who believe in free will, passion and love. Skye fights to keep her family and friends close and tries to gather a group of Rogues. Both sides will do what it takes to get Skye on their side…but perhaps it’s time for a change? Skye’s powers are stronger than they have ever been. This conclusion is action packed as Skye grows closer to her family and gets answers that she has been looking for her entire life.
This trilogy is a great paranormal romance. It is an angel book with a fight between good and evil, but it has it’s own unique details and twists. I love the names of the characters and how their personalities match which faction they belong to. The dialogue and the relationships are well developed and flow smoothly in the writing. I’ve never been to the mountains of Colorado, but the descriptions of the setting were so vivid, that it all seemed real. I would recommend reading the first two books in this trilogy because the author keeps the story moving along. I try not to judge the books by their cover, but these covers are beautiful! The model, the font and the color of the dress on each book are perfectly matched to the story. I think this is a great buy for a school or public library. There is mild violence and language, but I would still think it is appropriate for middle school. I guess it’s appropriate that given the theme of angles, the message is one of living life to the fullest and never giving up hope. It’s a good entertainment, escapist read. I would suggest this book for pleasure reading and it would make a good addition to the paranormal angel book displays. ( )
