Daddy's Boy was written for the M/M Romance Group's Love Has No Boundaries picture prompt event. The story is told in first person through the eyes of Max Jones a large muscled sub.



Max Jones and Rafe are going to marry and for Rafe's present, Max is going to tattoo 'Daddy's Boy' across his back. 'Daddy's Boy' has special significance for both Max and Rafe. It was a spot of contention when they first got together.

The story switches from present to past as Max remembers his and Rafe's first scene. Then the scene switches forward to their wedding day. I'm not sure I cared that much for the time switches, but it fit the story.

'Daddy's Boy' was a sweet, romantic read with very light BDSM. I enjoyed this quick feel good story and give it 4 Stars

The story was too short, but in this case I was OK with it, because I didn't have to spend more time with the happy couple than I absolutely had to.
Bigger meaner subs are not my thing and in it's own twisted perverted way the length was perfect.

I did love the very first (chronologically) scene with Ralf and Max, the way Ralf claimed his oversized boy-to-be so effortlessly. That scene was worth 5 stars to me :)

On the whole it was a pretty sweet story and I did enjoy it.

Nice short story about Max, an ex-SEAL, who is a sub to the core but has a very hard time admitting it. Not just because he himself has doubts he can be a "normal boy", but because he believes, initially, it says something about him that he isn't ready or willing to reveal - not even to himself.

Of course, with the right man, and Rafe is that guy, and the understanding between the two of them what the term "Daddy"and "boy" mean to them as a couple, the situation changes. It's too bad this story is too short to show that process, I am sure it would be fascinating. What we do get to see is the step Max takes to communicate his love and commitment to his Master/husband to be once they have reached that understanding, and it's a big and permanent one. I liked hearing the story from him in first person, since that made it more real, almost like a confession to himself.

If you like stories about men with a Daddy/boy kink, if you want to know more about the reasoning and emotions that could be behind engaging in that sort of play, and if you're looking for a short, hot read with a very happy ending, then you will probably like this free short story. ( )

Loved this short story. I usually have issues with shorts because it's always insta-love, and you don't necessarily get to feel the connection/chemistry between the MCs, but I most definitely felt the them in this one. ( )
