The thought of being Lulu's babysitter is not an exciting one, but Lulu's parents have found the perfect lady for the job. Will Lulu be able to get rid of her so her parents return early from their trip? Or will the babysitter foil all of Lulu's plans and teach her a thing or two about being the best babysitter ever?

This is a great beginning book for kids. The print is large, so even though there were over 100 pages it was a quick read. It also had illustrations, which helped visualize the characters and what was going on. I noticed a lot of repetition in phrases, which helps a lot for early readers. I would recommend this to any student who wants a fun book. ( )

Plot Summary: Lulu is NOT happy that her parents are leaving her. To go on a vacation. Without her. It's even worse when she finds out a "trained professional" will be staying with her while she's gone. She comes up with a few plans to make sure her parents don't leave. But they do! She tries a few things to get her parents to come home, but they don't work. Ms. Solinsky seems to be ahead of her and can read her mind, stopping all of her plans. How does Ms. Solinsky know what Lulu is going to do?

Personal Thoughts: Fun story. Fast read. Reminded me a little of Emily's Fortune but for younger students.

Genre: fantasy since they room became a complete disaster and was easily put back together, they can disguise themselves as other people changing height, weight, age, and even can become and animal
