Most of the stars are for the art. The story is pretty good but the art is just utterly beautiful. ( )

The art and writing of this series work so well together. A truly beautiful work. I especially love the painted watercolour style to the art with minimal colours used. It works really really well for the character and story. ( )

I liked the art but not the storytelling. It was like I was listening to Black Widow debriefing after a mission.
I know they can't all be comedians, but I like more humor and snark in my superhero stories.

When Natasha Romanova isn't working with the Avengers or serving as an agent of SHIELD she's taking contracts to earn funds to make amends for the many wrongs she's done in her past. When one of her contracts crosses over into SHIELD's territory she must try to discover who is behind massive attacks intended to kill single targets.

Not a bad first volume with Black Widow as the central character. I'm interested in this as a character study, the artwork is gorgeous, and the plot has enough of a mystery that I'll pick up the next volume. ( )

A serviceable, engaging storyline with some gorgeous art contributed by Phil Noto. Definitely looking forward to more of this. ( )
