![]() Keine aktuelle Diskussion zu diesem Buch. ![]() ![]() This book is about a small girl that is trying to get to know her dad's new wife since her mother died not too long ago. She tries to get advice from a family member and asks what should she do in this certain situation. The family member was her grandfather and he told her that he would tell her the answer to her question as long as she would go in search of a lion and bring back hair from the lion's tail. It took the girl a while to finally get the hair and she came back to her grandad for the answer. He told her that the way to solve the problem was by the same steps she used in order to recieve hair from the lion's tail. This story is a great way of telling children that there are certain situations that they can personally overcome. This book is about a young Ethiopian girl who lives with her father. Her mother died not long ago. Her father decided to get a new wife. She found it hard to get to know her step-mother so she asked her grand-father what to do. He said he would tell her, but she had to bring him hair from a lion's tail. It takes her several weeks to get the hair because she had to slowly get to know the lion. Her grand-father said the same method must be used to get to know her step-mother. This book could be used to teach children that it takes time to do many things, such as, get to know people. This story is about a girl named Almaz and her father. Her mother had died and from then on her and her father had continued to wear black clothing mourning the ceasing of her mother. The father decides to go get a new wife. Big rains were also suppose to come. Finally, the father gets a new wife and Almaz had a lot of questions filling her head that she asked, not being patient and waiting for the that time to come so that she would find out on her own. The new wife took the roles of what Almaz had been doing. Almaz wasn't getting good vibes from Kibret. She went to her wise grandfather for advice and he told Almaz he would teach her how to win her new mother over if she went and pulled the hair of a lion's tail first. This actually taught Almaz a lesson through trial and error. Every day for weeks, Almaz would take a piece of meat to the lion's cave and get step by step closer to achieving her goal when finally she did it. This taught her that it just takes time to be loved by her new mother. Her new mother wasn't giving her attention and affection like she wanted at first but it finally grew. Patience is a virtue and when people are patient, good things can happen. Zeige 4 von 4 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
