Arthur Schopenauher’s Saggio sulle donne (Essay on women) and Metafisica dell'amore sessuale (Metaphysics of sexual love). The Essay on women was short, but still full of hate and disrespect towards women that are defined as naturally submissive, childish, frivoulos, incapable of recognizing the beauty and the virtues. Sexual love is only meant to breed, so the Nature has made sex to be pleasing and while humans think they’re having sex for personal reasons, they’re doing it with the only purpose of carrying on the mankind. Sex drive is here for the mankind, unconcerned of personal will. This is not true in the modern society in which sex is often meant to be funny with pros and cons. Body features are got from the father and mind features from the mother. The last part is dedicated to pederasty recommended only when a men is too young or too old because “perfect human” are generated only within a age group. This book is very misogynistic in the first part and not very shareable, but it’s important to understand Schopenhauer. ( )
