Lucilla Chatsfield works at the family hotel and wanted to be CEO but her father gave Christos Giatrakos the job. Now Lucilla is trying to get rid of Christos so she can be CEO while fighting the powerful attraction they have for each other...

Lucilla was a feisty and headstrong heroine. She was a bit hard and tough in the first half of the book. I started liking her more as the story progressed. She was a very responsible, take charge kind of person. Maybe because she had to take care of her siblings when she was young, after her mother left the family, when she was only fourteen.

Christos was from the wrong side of the tracks. He sort of re-made himself after a bad childhood in which he had to spend some time in a juvenile detention facility. I liked him. I enjoyed the part when he took Lucilla to Kefalonia, Greece, and she got to learn more about his childhood.

Lucilla and Christos did a lot of arguing but I thought they had great chemistry together.

This was another entertaining read from "The Chatsfield" series. ( )
