This book is about how bacteria is good for your body but then again it can be bad for you at the same time. The book had funny jokes in comics and has a mini experiment you on every other page. and After a paragraph or too there is little facts about what they did in the old times that has a joke in it like one of them said "The Egyptians, used tetracycline in there beer on accident". They mostly talked about how the person discovered it and who discovered it. There is way too many facts and barely no comedy.

My opinion about the book is that there isn't enough comedy in it. It doesn't bring my attention as much, but the cover brings most of the attention. There is facts I didn't now about was actually pretty interesting. If I had to rate it I would give it a 7 out of 10 because there isn't much comedy in it or experience that's what mostly brings my attention in a book but I do like the facts that were pretty interesting. Also I like how they give you something to do. Also i wish the book was a little longer book. The book was only 30 pages and not including glossary. I also love the cover that brings my attention too.

Although a fact filled book I found it to be overwhelming to the eye. The illustrations and text are all over the place on the page and it is difficult to focus on a particular area. The lack of diversity in the descriptions is also particularly disappointing as the book attempts to explain the history of treating the sick. Although a solid attempt at trying to make learning about antibiotics fun I believe the author and illustrator did not successfully create a book that could do so. ( )
