I love how Lex Luthor always sets himself up to look like the good guy, but the JL is never buying it. BUT then they start going deeper into his history and messing with him and you start thinking, "Maybe he's not that bad?" or "Maybe he's changing?". But that's exactly what he would want you to think, right?

This whole Power Ring thing is a bit confusing. I thought it was really powerful, but it seemed to be tamed really easily. ( )

Lex Luthor is up to something, he wants to be a hero and join the Justice League, but as usual Lex is keeping secrets. Captain Cold also continues helping out the good guys when half the team are incapacitated, although apparently he too has an ulterior motive.
The artwork is swapped between several artists, my favourites being Ivan Reis and Jason Fabok, whose style is suitably rugged for both Batman and Superman.

Enjoyable art. But expect more of everyone being dicks to one another and DC assuming you know more about characters than they've revealed in the New 52.

Overall, an interesting premise but nothing especially noteworthy. ( )

This collection tells the story of Lex Luthor joining the Justice League and the friction that causes between him, Superman, and Bruce Wayne.

The art is solid, storytelling is solid, overall a high-quality volume.

I reallyenjoyed this but essentially this is a story of two halves, with the latter half taking the story in a completely different arc. It's interesting to se how a major protagonist from their past becomes a vital part of the team, but with an agenda of his own. Overall, interesting, fun and worth a look. ( )
