Two different skeletons are discovered over the summer. No one knows who they are, but a woman with a missing husband thinks it might be hers. He disappeared a couple years previously, and no one has seen him since. Frances is hired to prove it's him, she only agrees to do her best at finding out what happened and if possible where he is (dead or alive). There are a lot of pretty good twists and turns, and while I was able to figure out many of them, the author still got me good with a couple.

I think Linda Stratmann does excellent English cozies, in the vein of Doyle, but Linda's Frances actually uses real Science to sleuth out the guilty. ( )
