Hockey is hot and the players on Bennett's fictional team pretty much epitomize hot. I really liked how the romance developed in this story and that the female MC had a non-traditional back story. I also loved the gay best friend. This was a nice, sweet and kinda hot read and I was happy for an update on Alex. I'm interested to see how the next book develops especially with the sad back story on that one. (I'm trying to avoid spoilers here people!) Easy prose to follow (scored under my 24 hour read time, and yes i am a fast reader.). I am a huge Sawyer Bennett fan and add hockey? Sold me! Onto more detail... I have to agree with some reviewers. You really get a good sense of who Olivia is and where she is in her headspace. Having personal experience with this, Sawyer wrote to a difficult subject matter making you understand Olivia's challenges. But I knocked off a star because I really didn't feel I got to know Garrett as deeply as a character. He is definitely a man I would want at my side, but I didn't get the depth into character as I did with Alex. So, I would call this book: Olivia and Garrett. I did love their story.
