Lädt ... Only a Taste: A Steamy Multicultural (South Asian) Romance (Chance Encounters Book 3)von Hedonist SixKeine Keine aktuelle Diskussion zu diesem Buch. A lovely story of love at first sight set in a multicultural theme. Coming from a similar background and marrying outside of my community I can easily relate to Mandi's dilemma. Callum of course rises beyond all expectations and takes a stand for her which is very rare in real life. Of all the Chance Encounters titles, this one is definitely my favorite. A must read for all hardcore romantics ARC provided in exchange for an honest review This novella was cute. I liked Callum and Mandi, but felt like the story I started wasn't the story I finished. Both parts were nice enough. I just felt rushed; like I got disconnected and missed the all-important middle portion. The first part is when they meet and agree to a date. This also happens to be her last night 'free' from her parents. The evening goes well and ends up quite intimate. Afterwards, she moves back home. Neither can forget their connection, but due to family tradition they have a difficult time thinking of more. Afterall, Mandi's parents are trying to find her a suitable man to marry. This is where the story turns and goes warp speed on me. I liked the ending, as it was quite cute. But again, I felt like I missed being able to enjoy the rest of the story. ARC provided in exchange for honest review. The book is a short chick-lit novella and perfectly fits in the genre, it has intimate character, quick-short story which meets high suspense, humour and sweet ending. The book is written partly from both main character perspective to the situations where they meet. Its interesting and I had to laugh about situation with cultural-indian family relationship. The main male character has lived up recently high on his popularity and easy gaming with woman...His personality seems plain until the reader reveals more personal information, of course, all characters have personalities and personal life fights which moves them towards their actions or ups and downs. The female main character starts the story from the most broken point of her life - moving back to very old-fashioned parents and having no-close attached to anyone except her grandma, who has always guided and listened to her granddaughter. She is up to face a very traditional life situation when being single to her parents eyes and 23 y old.. Zeige 4 von 4 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
