Michael Jordan
2. Write the summary of the book.
Michael finally retired from basketball―for good this time―on April, 2003. His last game was in Philadelphia with the Washington Wizards against the 76ers.
Over the summer whispers and rumors started that Michel was thinking about an incredible second come back, at age 38. Feeding the suspicion was the fact that Michel was hired his former Bulls coach Dong Collins to catch for the Wizard.
He played and became the oldest player in NBA history to score 50 or more points in a game. He also recored 22.9 points-per-game average during the season was the highest ever for a player age 39 or older.
3.Write your feelings about the book in details.
The team that would be later called "the Dream Team" included veteran superstars Magic Johnson and Lary Bird as well as more recent and emerging dynamos Patric Ewing, Charles Barkley, Clyde Drexler, Karl Malone, John Stockton, David Robinson, Chris Mullin, and one college player―Dule University star Christian Leattner(See p 54).
I guess it was so easy for the Dream Team to get a gold medal.
4. Write words, phrases or sentences that impressed you most in the book and explain why they impressed you. Or you could write your questions about the book.
But the fight turned out to be tougher than Michael expected. He managed to hold his own in spring training, but it quickly became clear that he wasn't ready for the major leagues and would have to play on a minor league, ending up with the Birmingham Boston in Alabama, a Double-A team associated with the White Sox(See p 62).
Although he used to be a good baseball player before he became a NBA player, it was so difficult to become a major league player. ( )
