I liked this book! I felt it was a little long and I'm not sure how well it would hold a child's attention. But I think the intention was great and motivational! It teaches children to not be scared of the hospital, the shots don't hurt and that if you follow directions everything will be okay. ( )

George and his curiosity led to him swallowing a puzzle piece, visiting the hospital and getting into some trouble. George was able to make the best of his situation and make those around him a little happier while they were in the hospital as well.

36 months - I picked this up at the thrift store for 50 cents. This is one of the longer original stories. We've had so many conversations about putting things in the mouth, ears and nose that doesn't belong there this was a good reminder of why this is a "no no". My daughter really doesn't like to go to the doctor so this book hopefully, maybe, too a bit of the scariness away. We'll find out next week. ( )
