Hank is a rock star hiding out in his mountain cabin away from the press while his band takes time off. When he sees a woman (Poppy) that he thinks is spying on him from the nearby ski lodge, he mistakenly believes her to be a reporter who is about to submit an exclusive story revealing secrets about him and his bandmates. Hank ends up “kidnapping” Poppy, who is really a veterinarian, bringing her to his cabin where the two end up stuck together for days when a snowstorm comes and they find that they are very attracted to each other. This was a really cute romance novella of opposites attracting. Poppy and Hank were very likable and I liked that they took their time and didn’t rush into anything. Short, sweet and very enjoyable.
