The push and pull between the two MCs of "I shouldn't be attracted to him but I can't help it" was a bit repetitive, but once they finally decided to give their relationship a chance despite their individual doubts, I was all in. The latter half of the book had me tearing up as the path to recovery isn't smooth and easy, but the way Theodore and James's relationship blossomed into something so powerful and wonderful was lovely. As a side note, Moron Mike should've been fired years ago lmao XD (  ) loqiton | Aug 1, 2021 |  ) Alevis | May 17, 2020 | Within a dozen pages we have a drunk toilet fuck which really feels borderline gross in description from being shoved against the toilet to having the condom pulled off, wrapped, and tossed in the bowl our MC is draped over then flushed. Told ciao, then left to recover. (At least it's consensual!) It's hitting a hard DNF area, but I might come back and finish it, if only for the fact the author DID tell me it would deal with suicide, self-hate and a lot of dark topics.
