A little tree grows all alone on a cliff above the sea, hanging on through storms and changing seasons. Then, a little boy shows special kindness to the struggling tree. This is a story of stewardship -- taking care of each other -- and of integrity. This story follows a tree who finds herself on a rocky cliff all alone, “where no tree should ever be.” The tree works hard to plant her roots in the rock. The tree is overjoyed when a pair of birds decide to build their nest in her branches. The baby chicks hatch, grow, and fly south in the winter. The tree is once again all alone. A little boy finds the tree and begins bringing the tree dirt and nutrients to grow. With this simple act the cliff begins to bloom with vegetation. Other people begin to come to the beautiful cliff. “Now every day new people stop to rest beneath the little tree and dream the things we all dream of… To love, to share, to give, to dare to grow just where we are.” Zeige 3 von 3 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
