Ice Planet Holiday is a cute novella. The humans realize that they miss having holidays, so everyone comes together for a made up holiday that the Sa-khui end up calling No-Poison Day.

This book has a different feel than the other books in this series. Half of it is told from Georgie's perspective as she deals with the responsibilities of being the chief's mate and gets ready to have her baby. The other half of the book is told from Claire's perspective as she figures out how to get out of a bad relationship and eventually starts a new romance.

I liked both parts of the book, but I kind of wish that Claire and Ereven had their own book instead of having to share a novella with someone else's story. They were great together and I would have liked to read more about them. ( )

Another enjoyable interlude as the women from earth think it’s the perfect time to break up the winter monotony. They’ve been mostly thriving for over a year now and many are paired up, pregnant, and some are even moms, so why not make a holiday of it to give thanks and liven things up for their newfound family!

Focusing on Georgie who’s pregnant and tired of being so, as well as unmated Claire who’s struggling in her current miserable relationship with Bek, I liked seeing how these two separate peoples and cultures have come together so harmoniously.

A nice read to indulge in a feast, treats, and presents, not to mention a few births and a newly resonated couple! ( )

Frolicking Fun

A short fun look into more Ice Barbarians and their mates. Keeps you giggling and excited at the same time. The author loves her characters and puts a ton of her fun and joy into her characters. Read these as the fun romps they are and don’t take them too seriously - they’re great short reads! ( )

This is a happy little update novella to the series, catch-up, see how everyone we have already learn to love is doing and introduce some earth culture to Not-Hoth. ( )
