College girl Helen Stevens decides to pursue an adventure in support of the Great War (WW1) by signing up for the Women's Land Army of America. The WLA was created to help farmers with their crops while the men were at war. At first, no farmers come by to hire Helen and her cohorts. But when the camp director drives them directly to a farmer and promotes their services, their hard work gets noticed.
