I really loved seeing the development of Pariya and Umar's budding relationship and friendship (awww!). Also, I'm in love with their traditional braided hairstyles and had to search for real photos online. Was not disappointed — they are stunning! ( ) A new volume in one of my favorite series! It's been over two years since I've read volume 8, but the beautiful art and superbly-crafted tales make the wait well worthwhile. The main storyline is a continuation of the possible romance for Pariya, the village tsundere, but all my favorite characters show up to deliver some delicious tidbits. A romance book set in the 1800s in a small village in Central Asia along the Silk Road may not be for everyone, but I highly recommend it. Pariya's wedding has been delayed, and she is becoming anxious that the prospective groom will change his mind. He misunderstands her shy behavior, so unlike her, and thinks she doesn't want to marry him. A shared errand, made difficult by a mishap and a stranger's tragedy along the road, brings them and their families together. Zeige 4 von 4 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
Acclaimed creator Kaoru Mori's tale of life on the nineteenth-century Silk Road continues. Pariya's budding romance with Umar is off to a rough start due to her brash personality and lack of confidence. But if she can't figure out how to say what she wants with words, then perhaps the old adage is true--the way to a man's heart is through his stomach! Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |
