Absolutely gorgeous.
The Little Mermaid has always been one of my favourite fairytales, and I loved the fact that this was a rendition of the original story (and not the Disney-fied version).
The use of color for the different realms was really powerful, it enhanced the story beautifully. The mix of styles and influences worked well in this book.

This is such a beautiful rendition of The Little Mermaid. Since this is an adaptation I cannot rate the book on the story. The art is what mesmerized me and makes me want to read it again and again. It is simply stunning. Would recommend to kids and adults alike.

This is a different take on the original story. It's still about a little mermaid and her adventures in the ocean and on land, but the graphic novel aspect really changes the perspective on it. The little mermaid is an adventurous sea creature who wants to know what it's like on land, and she gets in some trouble along the way.

My favorite kind of fairy tale with a tragic ending. Beautiful character designs. ( )
