This wasn’t bad at all, which surprised me a little. I’ve read earlier Xena comics (sort of single like ones that I found at the library) that were okay, but a little off character wise (gonna try to read them again at some point if I can find them too). In this TPB though, the stories seemed pretty good on the characterization front, as well as with the plot and such.

There was a first story with Xena vs. The Greek and Egyptian gods which was fun, and then we found out that it was actually a sequel and we get a story about how Gabrielle tried to bring back Xena (after the finale Friends in Need). Unfortunately that one seemed a little perfunctory, although parts were fun, and finally there was a Xena vs. A predator looking sort of guy story that was awesome! Go Xena!!

Overall I liked the Omnibus and I’m ready to read the newer stuff too now! ( )
