It speaks volumes of the talent of a writer when he or she can switch genres and hit a home run. Aleatha didn't just hit a home run with this book, she hit a grand slam. Aleatha's switch from the dark side to a lighter side is a huge success. I wouldn't mind reader a little lighter from her from time to time. Maybe not all of the time; just every once in a while. (  ) AmberGoleb | Mar 13, 2018 | I enjoyed these two and the sex was hot! I loved watching Duncan realize that he does not want the weekend to end their relationship. Kimbra is afraid of being hurt. I loved watching him convince her to give them a chance. Their pasts come back to haunt them a little but it all turns out right in the end. Kimbra's family was a blast, especially her grandmother. This was laugh out loud meets, a sweet romance combined. I loved watching this relationship grow. Not steam, crazy grandma Hellen , other fantastic secondary characters, and chemistry galore between Duncan (swoon) and Kimbra.
I'm looking forward to more from the lighter side of this author. Very well done. (
