Jamie K. Schmidt, author of HARD COVER, has penned one of the hottest erotic romances that I have read in a very long time. You might want to have a fan nearby! Not only was the erotic side very strong, but the romance side was just as equally strong too. I always find, while reading erotica, that the romance always felt like it was on the sidelines. This is not the case here. I can't express just how much I loved this book. Jamie K. Schmidt is a new author for me and I will gladly be searching out and adding her books to my ever growing pile. This was slow for me at first, the characters were so different and at such odds with one another I couldn't see where the story could go. But it soon peps up and Rory and Dawn have a lot in common...so to speak. Dawn really was a stubborn gal, but she liked her pleasure and Rory came across as a busy, entrepreneur who's really still just a rich boy and in the end he stood up for Dawn, and her bohemian ways. No holds barred on this one. Dawn is an in your face, badass bookstore owner who likes sex and doesn't hold back. Rory is a cleaned up billionaire who proves you can't judge a book by its cover as he challenges her and gives as good as he gets.
Schmidt is true to her writing style and voice, and this story is a breath of fresh air. The UST is to die for, and the actual sex is the little death itself. Romantic, Kinky and sexy, this book has it all.

Received an ARC for my voluntary review for netgalley. It was a cute story. We have Rory a hot billionaire, who can not resist Dawn and vice versa. They went to high school together, but did not hang out in the same crowd. Dawn is a rebel, she always felt that she had to be different because she never felt good enough. Rory felt the need to please his parents. However, their chemistry was combustible, and even though they were on different sides of the fence due to a project that Rory had going on, they still gave into their desires.. But someone wants to push her out of her store, who is it? ( )
