Lädt ... The Captain's Harvestvon T.J. Land
Keine Keine aktuelle Diskussion zu diesem Buch. This newest installment of ‘Adrift’ has the crew of The Prayer firmly established on their new planet, slowly recreating some of the things they missed in outer space and have not found planetside so far – like bread and even beer. The erotic entanglements continue, but a few couples begin to emerge on top of the overall free-for-all group around the captain. The biggest crisis is the realization that Khurshed’s rejuvenation pills will run out at some point, Rux (the alien) assuring them he has a solution for the problem, and the resulting adventure as they search for the fungus they need. As ever, mystery is part of the deal, but so are a few revelations about the crew members’ pasts, surprises, and lots of hot action between lovers in various combinations. The good news is that Rick has managed to grow grain, and Echo is now able to bake bread. The men find out that it’s the small things that make a planet feel like home, and they think all they need to do now is agree on a name for their celebratory festival. But when Khurshed’s arthritis acts up, their priorities change, and the search for a solution begins. What an adventure! If you like your science fiction with a healthy dose of action/adventure as well as some very hot erotic episodes, if you think that a ménage between four men and their various boyfriends outside the closest circle can work, and if you’re looking for a read that is suspenseful, illuminating, and entertaining, then you will probably like this novella. Anyway, the abrupt ending (tho not an outright cliffhanger) with which I was not happy at all, suggests there might be moar Captain's Men in the future. Dear Gawd, please, let it be so.
SPOILER!!!!-ish
they are about to start working on a bébé, for crying out loud! A. Bébé!
A-HA! I knew it! GR is "updating". New bugs, welcome home, meet old bugs, and prepare to be trapped in here forever. (
